“Mortal Kombat 11” fans have another massive week since the popular fighting title is going to add more new content after the most recent addition of Terminator in the roster of characters. This week gamers will enjoy a new Team Raid game mode and engage in boss fights to win rewards and new brutalities his Halloween. But, that’s not all; if the latest datamined details are accurate, we might have the details of the next character coming to the game, and it appears he is sharing some of the powers that Raiden has.

Dataminers have recently uncovered audio files within the PC game files of “Mortal Kombat 11.” The files were unearthed from the different announcers that players can choose, including those that aren’t yet available in the fighting game. Aside from announcing DLC characters like Spawn and Joker, the audio files also make references to the legacy character Fujin. Surprisingly, Fujin is not yet available in the popular fighting game.

To make the matter more interesting, the datamined dialogue from “Mortal Kombat 11” is precisely for the time when Fujin wins a fight, which could mean that his arrival in the game is imminent. This is great news for fans of the popular fighting game because a leak, which has been proven accurate so far, has included Fujian in the list of characters arriving in the Kombat Pack 2. But what do we know about Fujin?

Fujin is the God of Wind who was first introduced in “Mortal Kombat 4.” He was also seen in “Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero” as a non-playable boss. However, his name was not mentioned until “Mortal Kombat 4.” The character is based on the Japanese Shinto god of the same name. He looks like an ageless white-haired man.

Fujin’s attacks include a variety of wind-based attacks, and because of the resemblances in both style and appearance, it’s clear that Raiden and Fujin share a lot in common. Rumors have it that Fijun was initially designed to be Raiden’s brother, but since he was never really addressed properly in-game, it still uncertain if that is going to be the case when he arrives in “Mortal Kombat 11.”

Fujin has total control of the wind and has shown the ability to transform into a tornado, create miniature tornadoes, levitate, and use the wind to slam opponents. Presumably, Fujin is just as powerful as Raiden, and since both of them are Gods, they could not die.

“Mortal Kombat 11” is playable on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, with a Google Stadia version also in development.
