The Phoenix Suns pulled off a surprising sweep of the Denver Nuggets in the NBA playoffs, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

For a franchise that has been on the receiving end of jokes for the better part of a decade, their return to the Western Conference Finals has surprised many and the Suns faithful are making the most out of it.

In the series-clinching Game 4 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Phoenix fans came in full force to support their team who were on the verge of their first sweep since the 2010 postseason when they were able to put the San Antonio Spurs away in the same manner.

Phoenix fans are known for their undying support for the team despite its ups and downs.

An incident towards the end of Game 3 further highlighted their passion for the team and its rousing success this season.

As Devin Booker and the Suns were cruising to a 125-118 win, a fight broke out between a Suns fan and two Nuggets fans.

Twitter user @cbj3000 recounted the incident and said that the Nuggets fans were about to leave the arena when the Suns fan told them, “Suns in four.”

A heated exchange of words ensued afterwards before a beer was dumped on the Suns fan that caused punches to be thrown.

It turned out that the “Suns in four” fan predicted the outcome correctly.

Booker wanted to touch base with the fan after Game 4, and it looks like they did.

“Suns in four” fan, who has now been identified as Nick McKellar (@suns.in.4), reached out to the two-time All-Star after the incident and Booker reposted his message on his Instagram story.

The 24-year-old superstar seems to be cool with the whole situation and understands what happened.

The No. 2-seeded Suns have a couple of days’ rest as they wait for the winner of the Los Angeles Clippers–Utah Jazz series.
