TV’s number one watched drama is back with an all new Halloween-themed episode next week. CBS’ “NCIS” revealed a page from Alex Quinn’s past this week. Fans finally got to know why Jennifer Esposito’s character left field work and did a desk job for so many years. Now, the upcoming episode will focus on a kidnapper and the investigation will quickly take a scary turn.

“NCIS” Season 14, episode 6, titled “Shell Game,” will see a Petty Officer, who was kidnapped recently, escape. Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) team soon finds a connection between the kidnapper and her missing husband.

The promo of the upcoming episode reveals that someone is telling the Petty Officer’s kidnapper what to do. And this kidnapper is still out there. Then we see a glimpse of the abductor adjusting chains.

The Petty Officer isn’t out of danger yet, even after she escaped. Bishop (Emily Wickersham) tells the traumatized officer that they think she is the main target of the kidnapper. The promo also teases that Quinn’s life is in danger and that someone is trying to fool the team.

Judging from the preview, episode 6 is sure to be a spooky one filled with unexpected plot twists.

Of course, the characters in “NCIS” always know how to have a good time and embrace the holidays, even if they are working on a grim case. The synopsis states that forensic genius Abby (Pauley Perrette) will knit personalized gifts to the new agents on the team. Which means she will give Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), Quinn and MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry) something special on Halloween. Reeves joined the team officially last episode after he helped Bishop and Quinn catch an MI6 Officer who turned out to be a weapons smuggler.

Former NFL player Tony Gonzalez will guest star in this episode as NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis.
