Get ready to celebrate 50 years of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival because the full 2019 lineup is finally here.

Rumors about who would be performing this year have been swirling for months, but now we know which of those predictions proved to be true and which ones ended up having no merit. The 50th anniversary festival added an extra day this year to make the event as big as possible, which is why the lineup for the two weekends — April 25-28 and May 2-5 — is extensive.

So, who are the headliners for Jazz Fest this year? You might want to make sure you’re sitting down for this one. You’ve got The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Katy Perry, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, Chris Stapleton, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Santana, Pitbull, Van Morrison, Al Green, Logic, Earth Wind & Fire, J Balvin, Gladys Knight, Alanis Morisette, Ciara, John Fogerty, Bonnie Raitt, The Doobie Brothers and so many others all set to perform at the 2019 event.

Tickets, which can be purchased at either the event website or on Ticketmaster’s site, are now available for purchase. There are a few different festival pass levels, with the first one being general admission. The most basic of the four ticket packages, this one simply gives you access to all of the performances going on the day you decide to use the ticket.

The next one up, Krewe of Jazz Fest VIP Pass, offers ticket holders the option to watch performances at the Acura Stage from a private, covered viewing area, as well as express VIP entrances at certain gates and a private beverage stand.

The one above that, Grand Marshal VIP Pass, includes access to a standing-room-only area at the front of the festival’s three biggest stages — Acura Stage, Gentilly Stage and the Congo Square Stage — on top of giving fans entrance to private restrooms and the Grand Marshal Hospitality Tent.

If you want to go all out for the 2019 New Orleans Jazz Fest, you’ll want to pick up their most exclusive ticket package: Big Chief VIP Experience. Ticket holders are given access to special VIP viewing stands, as well as front-of-house bleachers at some of the smaller performances tents. The package also includes private beverage stands, an air-conditioned hospitality lounge with a cash bar and complimentary refreshments.
