In celebration of his third year as a Paris Saint-Germain talisman, Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. gave a powerful statement, suggesting he is likely to stay with PSG as he and his teammates have already formed a "family."

Since leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, Neymar’s career has been plagued with controversies. And while the Brazilian became a hero in the eyes of the Parisian side’s fans, this relationship turned a bit rocky before the start of the 2019/20 season when Neymar got heavily linked to a possible move away from Parc des Princes.

For some, the idea of a grand reunion for Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Barcelona has always been a possibility. But this coming transfer window, the speculations grew even bigger as the Catalans continue to search for a boost in their attacking force.

Neymar’s possible return to Barcelona has become one of the biggest stories this year. However, in a recent statement posted on his official website, the 28-year-old revealed that he has been having the best moment of his career with PSG. Neymar also emphasized that he and his teammates have already formed a "family," suggesting a prolonged stay with the Ligue 1 club.

"With my teammates’ help, I was able to overcome and focus on what really matters for everyone, which is our performance in the field translated into titles," Neymar wrote. "I believe that today I live my best moment in Paris. We form a family on behalf of the greater objective we have ahead of us. We want to mark this season with the Champions. We will fight for this, because we were never so close."

Neymar also got candid about how he has been enjoying the competition in France. The former Barca striker admitted that he learned to adapt to the league while playing game after game. Ultimately, Neymar said that he has embraced his role in PSG.

"The adjustments happen from game to game. It’s a football with some heavy markings, with skillful and fast young players. My resource is to dribble to take the defender away and help a teammate to score the goal. It’s how I like to play," he concluded.

PSG already hails Neymar as a legend in the club after making history as the Brazilian with most goals scored in the club – 74 goals in 85 games (including friendly matches). He also conquered nine titles and is now on his way to competing for his long-cherished dream of a Champions League victory.
