Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are said to have been together for nearly a year now, and though much of their relationship has been kept under wraps, the actress and filmmaker opened up about her love life — without dropping names — in a recent interview with Vogue.

While both Wilde, 37, and Styles, 27, have kept a low profile when it comes to talking about their relationship, they have been subjected to a lot of "widespread obsession, envy, and tabloid-fueled cattiness" over their 10-year-age gap, the outlet reported. But apparently, what other people say doesn't matter to Wilde.

"It's obviously really tempting to correct a false narrative," Wilde said in the interview. "But I think what you realize is that when you're really happy, it doesn't matter what strangers think about you. All that matters to you is what's real, and what you love, and who you love."

Wilde also said that what she's going through is nothing different from what normal people have to deal with on social media every day.

"In the past 10 years, as a society, we have placed so much more value on the opinion of strangers rather than the people closest to us," she said, adding, "I'm happier than I've ever been. And I'm healthier than I've ever been, and it's just wonderful to feel that."

Though Wilde didn't actually mention Styles' name during the conversation, she spoke glowingly about a "friend" who "accompanied her on a recent trip to her parents' home." The said visit happened to coincide with Styles' tour in D.C.

The same person reportedly gave her a "beaded Éliou necklace" with her kids' names. Interestingly, the jewelry piece is similar to the one Styles wears, the report said.

Wilde and Styles met while working on the film, "Don't Worry Darling," in the fall of 2020. The pair were romantically linked in January 2021.

In July of this year, a source told E! Online that the two have settled into a nice routine.

"It's obvious that this was not a rebound or a short fling," the insider disclosed as per the outlet. "They care so much about each other and have a deep connection."

The source also said that the pair were balancing their careers and relationship while keeping things low.

"They're pretty low-key and have enjoyed being somewhat out of the public eye," the insider added.

Wilde shares two children with her ex-fiancé, Jason Sudeikis. The former couple ended their engagement in November 2020.

Meanwhile, the former One Direction member previously dated Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Camille Rowe, according to Page Six.
