'One Piece' 1047: Zunisha Remembers Joyboy, Momonosuke Mans Up; Raw Scans, Spoilers Release Date

"One Piece" 1047 will be an action-packed chapter with fans most likely seeing Momonosuke displaying unexpected courage and stepping up to prevent Onigashima from crashing into the Flower Capital, while Luffy, with his new power-up, continues to beat up the strongest creature in the world–Kaido.

Fans have several days to speculate on what the next chapter will be about, but based on the previous installment, it looks like the epic battle on the roof of the Skull Dome will not yet end. Luffy, in his awakened state, showed in the previous chapter that he could manipulate his surroundings, including the ability to hold a bolt of lightning.

Fans will most likely discover more about Luffy's new power and witness how he would make fun of Kaido in the fight. Also, readers might see a more mature and brave side of Oden's heir Momonosuke in the upcoming chapter.

In "One Piece" 1046, Yamato says that Kaido is at his limits, which means, Onigashima is also in danger. This is because while the Emperor of the Sea is fighting Luffy, he also controls the Flame Clouds that keep the island afloat.

Should Luffy beat the yonko, the most likely scenario is the burning island to crash. The upcoming chapter might show Momonosuke braving his fears and finally being able to create robust Flame Clouds to support Onigahsima.

Another possibility is for Momo to follow in his father's footsteps and while in his dragon form, he would carry Onigashima on his back. Oden did this when he lifted all his vassals while he bravely stood his ground in a boiling cauldron of oil.

Zunisha might also play a huge part in saving Onigashima. Since Momo can talk to the mysterious elephant, he can ask Zunisha to carry the floating island, but this, of course, would affect the Mink community on Zunisha's back.

There is an excellent chance that readers will also get an update on Raizo and Jimbei's fire dispersal technique in the upcoming chapter. If readers are lucky, Oda might provide an update on Orochi and Hyori and the other members of the Akazaya Nine.

Apart from those, Zunisha will still be in a nostalgic mood while Luffy fights. In the previous chapter, the wandering ancient elephant kept on remembering Joyboy as it heard the beat of the drums of liberation, which was actually Luffy's heartbeat.

Readers might be treated to a little more information about the mysterious legendary character Joyboy. The popular manga created by legendary mangaka Eiichiro Oda is on a week-long hiatus, which means no new chapter will be released next Sunday.
