The Emperors of the Sea are the most feared pirates in "One Piece" and most pirates tremble at the utterance of their names or upon hearing their voices. But not Luffy. The future Pirate King is fearless right from the start of the manga. Aside from getting hungry, Dragon's son does not fear anything or anyone.

There have already been countless times that the "One Piece" fandom witnessed Luffy's Yonko-tier moment. He asked Usopp to burn the World Government's flag at the Enies Lobby and save Robin from the CP9. Luffy punched a celestial dragon in the face when they auctioned Camie and shot the octopus fish-man Hachi.

He braved the impenetrable Impel Down and later proceeded in the Marineford War, joining Whitebeards and fighting his grandpa Garp to save Ace. He rampaged into Big Mom's territory just to take back Sanji. The confrontation between Luffy and the two Yonkos is just the beginning of the climactic and long-awaited scenes in the land of Wano arc.

If the leaked "One Piece" Chapter 1000 is accurate, it would only mean that Eiichiro Oda didn't disappoint his fans. In fact, as of writing, #OnePiece1000 and #Luffy are trending on Twitter with over 100,000 and 50,000 tweets, respectively.
