The Originals
“The Originals” returns with new episodes on Friday, March 17 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. The CW

Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) has been linked to several women in “The Originals” and “Vampire Diaries.” Through the years, he has romanced Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola-King), Hayley Marshall-Kenner (Phoebe Tonkin) and Camille O’Connell (Leah Pipes). However, it is only with Hayley that he has a child named Hope (played by Summer Fonatana in Season 4).

Fans of Klaus and Hayley have been clamoring for the parents to get back together. So, is there hope that the former lovers will reunite in Season 4?

“Hayley and Klaus ended Season 3 in a pretty good place,” “The Originals” executive producer Michael Narducci told TVLine, “He was able to do what he had to in order to save his siblings, and he was able to trust his child in the hands of this woman he has come to respect and trust more than he does a lot of other people.”

Klaus and Hayley’s relationship is certainly going to improve in the upcoming episodes. “They trust and each other and will do whatever it takes to protect their kid, and I think you’ll start to see a lot more of that,” Narducci explained. However, he cautioned enthusiastic fans that the parents aren’t ready to be lovers … yet. “They’re not lovers, but they’re parents of this girl, and they have to be in concert if they’re going to do everything they need to do to raise her and protect her.”

Last season saw the unexpected death of Camille just after she (finally) romanced the hybrid.

Season 3 ended with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) emerging as the new leader of New Orleans after stabbing Klaus with Papa Tunde’s knife and burying him inside a brick wall. Marcel become more powerful than the Mikaelsons after injecting himself with a powerful serum.

“The Originals” Season 4 premieres on Friday, March 17 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
