Nikole Mitchell has no regrets after turning her back from being a pastor to become a stripper and she's now celebrating the anniversary of her living a life that is full of self-expression.

Mitchell is among those who changed careers and joined OnlyFans. She recently took to social media to congratulate herself for finding the courage to live the life she had always wanted after being raised in a conservative home.

"It was a year ago today that I embarked on a journey of full self-expression - & who knew that just shy of a year later my story would be picked up by the @NYPost & would go viral within 24 hours!" she wrote on Instagram.

In her lengthy post, she encouraged other people to "trust yourself, step into the unknown and let that tug lead you all the way home" because "you will not be disappointed." She added that the experience of finding your joy is so worth it since everyone deserves it.

"Happy One Year Anniversary to me to living fully unleashed & expressed," she continued.

"Thank you to everyone who’s loved & supported me on this journey. I truly wouldn’t be here without you. So so grateful for you. Here’s to being the free humxns we were always born to be."

Mitchell first shared her life story in an interview with the New York Post. She grew up in a strict Baptist family and was expected to be sweet, quiet and conservative. However, deep within, she wanted something else.

"From a young age, I had fantasized about being a stripper," the erotic model told the outlet.

"But I was indoctrinated to believe my desires and my body were innately sinful and bad."

She added that she was taught that women aren't allowed to lead and that they belong to the kitchen with their children. Her rebellious streak pushed her to become a pastor because she wanted to perform. When one pastor asked her to be one of them, she didn't have second thoughts.

"To be on stage in front of thousands of people — that’s what I had been dreaming of for years," she shared.

In 2006, she attended an LGBT-oriented theater performance and realized that she wasn't straight. It alarmed her because she felt that "the church is not welcoming to queer people." She initially struggled to keep her sexuality a secret until she decided to leave the church for good. She now identifies herself as a bisexual and pansexual.

Mitchell is a mother of three. She moved to Los Angeles in August 2019 and divorced her ex-husband in June. She joined OnlyFans and has since been sharing explicit photos and videos on the platform for money.

"Every person has the right to express themselves in whatever way feels good to them and this is how it feels good to me," she said.
