People's Choice Awards 2018 Live Stream: When, Where To Watch And Performers List

The 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards, formerly known as simply People’s Choice Awards, airs live on Sunday, making it the first time it’s done so in November. The show, which had aired mostly in January in the past, celebrates the best of music, movies, TV, social media and more.

Stars like Shawn Mendes, Viola Davis, Chris Hemsworth, Ariana Grande, Chrissy Teigen and more are nominated this year. Aside from finding out the winners of the regular categories, viewers can also expect to see special award presentations and musical performances. When And Where Can You Watch?

Before the official award show begins, people can see all the celebrities walk the red carpet on E!’s Live from the Red Carpet: The E! People’s Choice Awards. The pre-show begins on E! at 7 p.m. EST.

As for the main event, after airing on CBS since 1975, the show’s moving over to E! for the first time. The show starts its live broadcast from Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California Sunday at 9 p.m. EST and is expected to wrap up at 11 p.m. EST. Fans can also watch the event on other NBCUniversal cable networks, like Bravo, SYFY, Universo and USA Network.

A live stream with behind-the-scenes PCAs content will be available on the E! app, Twitter and YouTube channel.

Which Celebrities Will Be Hosting And/Or Performing?

While there’s no celebrity set to host the 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards, there are a few performers to look forward to. Nicki Minaj is kicking off the show with a song off her recent album, “Queen,” while John Legend and Rita Ora will hit the stage later on in the night.

Victoria Beckham’s being honored with the Fashion Icon Award during the show, and Melissa McCarthy will be receiving the People’s Icon of 2018 award.

“Melissa McCarthy is a multi-talented actor, writer, producer and director and who has starred in some of the most iconic movies and television shows of the past decade,” Jen Neal, EP of Live Events and Executive VP of Marketing for E! said in a press release. “She is beloved by the people and we couldn’t think of anyone more fitting or deserving to honor as The People’s Icon of 2018.”
