There is no denying that most members of the royal family were affected when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they are ditching the public life for good in January. Aside from Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Prince William, as per reports, were also disappointed since the Sussex couple did not consult them before coming up with such a decision. Reports, now, claimed that the father-and-son duo is trying to show Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor’s dad what he is missing.

Woman’s Day Australia reported that Prince Charles and Prince William were sighted together at a joint event last week. The husbands of Camilla Parker-Bowles and Kate Middleton, respectively, played around during an official visit to Leicestershire’s military rehab facility. The Prince of Wales was even seen pushing his son around in a wheelchair.

A source told the entertainment news publication that Prince Charles and Prince William chose a cause close to Prince Harry’s heart and showed the younger royal that they can still have fun even at work. This, according to the insider, is the pair’s “sweet message” to Meghan Markle’s husband, who wants to live a private life with his family in North America.

“They know Harry follows royal press obsessively, and they wanted him to see that things are going great without him, and that if he were to return he would be far from miserable. I’m sure Charles and Wills would’ve wanted to remind Harry of that,” the same tipster said. “As much as Harry insists he loves his new life, a huge part of him will miss the military, as well as the day-to-day contact with his dad and brother,” it went on.

Prince Charles and Prince William have yet to comment on these claims. However, with Woman’s Day’s reputation for writing articles based on the accounts of its anonymous sources, this could just be another work of fiction waiting to be debunked. Hence, avid followers of the royal family should take these rumors with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, People reported that a weight has been lifted off Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shoulders after finally making a bold move of leaving the royal life. A close pal of the couple even told the magazine that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are enjoying their quiet life on the scenic Vancouver Island in Canada. “They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs,” continued.
