Prince William and Prince Harry are rumored to be feuding. And the reason behind their alleged rift may have just been revealed.

On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard said that the concerned older brother must have asked the Duke of Sussex if he’s sure about marrying Meghan Markle.

Although Mollard’s statement is just her own theory, she said that she doesn’t think the royal siblings’ feud is caused by the Duke of Cambridge. In fact, the dad of three can’t possibly be at fault for asking his younger brother a sensible question.

“So, I think it’s pretty obvious what happened, William who spent a long time deciding that he was going to marry Kate because he knew how important it is to this institution and to his concept of duty. Which possibly he upholds as the second most dutiful member of the Royal Family on paper, after the Queen, I think. he wants a clean copybook to go into the role that he will eventually inherit,” Mollard said.

The royal commentator also said that Prince William’s question about Prince Harry and Markle is reasonable especially since the Sussexes have not known each other that long. Mollard said that it’s also not unreasonable for the future King to ask Prince Harry if he’s thought about his decision or advised him to wait a little longer before tying the knot.

Meanwhile, Prince William has been mum about his feud with Prince Harry. But Markle’s husband recently shared an update about their relationship during his interview on “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.”

The new dad said that he and Prince William are on different paths at the moment. He also said that they don’t see each other as much as they used to. But at the end of the day, they are brothers and they will always love each other and have each other's backs.
