Numerous fans have been waiting patiently for the official details of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s upcoming wedding. However, with all the controversies hounding the life of the royal family, the couple’s happiness was, allegedly, threatened. There were even reports saying that Beatrice and Edoardo made some adjustments for their big day.

Woman’s Day Australia reported that the lovebirds have set the date to exchange their wedding vows before reports about her dad’s alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal broke. Because of this, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo were, allegedly, forced to scratch their plans and opt for a more “intimate, low-key event.”

“Originally Beatrice wanted the big fairytale wedding just like her sister Princess Eugenie, who had 850 guests and thousands of well-wishers gathered outside,” a palace insider claimed. “But with the crisis engulfing her family, it’s clear a wedding of that size just wasn’t appropriate. At times, she’s struggled to even imagine going ahead at all given the negativity and stress – it’s been incredibly difficult,” it went on.

Though the entire royal family has been bombarded with various issues lately, they, reportedly, look forward to Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding day. The entertainment news publication even claimed that Queen Elizabeth, already, allowed the pair to use the historic Royal Chapel at St. James’s Palace for the nuptials ceremony. The sister of Princess Eugenie is, also, said to be very involved in the plans.

Princess Beatrice, reportedly, told her friends that she wants her family, including Prince Andrew, to attend her special day even if she has been devastated by the scandal. However, it remains unclear if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will grace the event. Hollywood stars Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and Karlie Kloss will, reportedly, be invited as well.

“Beatrice’s special day will not be televised,” a source told OK! Magazine USA. “Her dress is said to be white and traditional, with seed pearls and lace adornments. The guest list will be small, but impressive,” it continued.

While these reports could be true, it should be noted that neither Princess Beatrice nor Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has yet to confirm these claims. Hence, avid followers of the couple should take these speculations lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, aside from her forthcoming wedding with Edoardo, followers of Princess Beatrice are, also, looking forward to seeing her take on more royal responsibilities, especially after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to step down from their posts. “The Queen and Prince Charles are happy the princesses are willing to step up. In fact, they believe they’ll do a fine job. And the reality is, senior royals are suddenly short on the ground so they could do with some extra hands on deck,” a royal aide said.
