Prince Albert of Monaco and his wife Princess Charlene just celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary.

The royal couple released a new portrait Friday via social media to mark their latest marriage milestone.

The snap featured Prince Albert and Princess Charlene holding hands as they posed together in the gardens of the Prince's Palace. The princess stunned in a teal gown, while he looked dapper in his dark suit.

"On their 11th wedding anniversary, LL.AA.SS. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene wanted to share this photo taken in the gardens of the Prince's Palace," the official Facebook account of Prince's Palace of Monaco wrote alongside the photo, indicating that photographer Eric Mathon captured the snap.

Princess Charlene also shared the picture on her Instagram account. "Happy anniversary," she wrote in the caption, along with a red heart emoji.

Social media users sent congratulatory messages to the royal couple and expressed their joy over seeing Princess Charlene looking better and healthier.

"She's looking gorgeous and healthy!" one person commented.

"Happy anniversary to you both," another user wrote.

"Congratulations and many blessings to you both! Your Serene Highness, you look wonderful," a third person added.

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, who are parents to 7-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, were unable to celebrate their milestone 10th anniversary together last year. She was unable to travel back to Monaco as she was recovering from complications stemming from an ENT surgery in South Africa.

"This year will be the first time that I will not be with my husband on our wedding anniversary in July, which is difficult and saddens me," Princess Charlene said in a statement obtained by People at the time. "However, Albert and I had no choice but to follow the instructions of the medical team, even if it was extremely difficult. He has been the most incredible support to me."

Princess Charlene returned to Monaco in November 2021, but shortly after, she sought treatment at a Swiss clinic for emotional and physical exhaustion. After four months of treatment, she finally returned to Monaco in March.

Princess Charlene's months-long stay in South Africa and four-month treatment sparked various rumors regarding her marriage to Prince Albert, including reports that they are planning to divorce and that she has bought a new home in Switzerland.

But the couple appeared to shut down the split rumors when they were seen sharing a kiss outside the Fram Museum in Oslo during their family's visit to Norway last month. It was their first official trip abroad since she returned to public life earlier this year.

Princess Charlene also directly addressed rumors of trouble in the marriage when she spoke with reporters.

"You want to talk about rumors of divorce or my new home in Switzerland?" the royal said.

"I still find it regrettable that certain media peddle such rumors about my life, my relationship," she added. "Like everyone else, we are human beings and like all human beings we have emotions, weaknesses, only our family is exposed to the media and the slightest weakness is relayed."

Princess Charlene has joined Prince Albert and their children on several outings over the past few months, including a mother-daughter date at a Monte-Carlo Fashion Week event and Monaco's Grand Prix.
