Microsoft’s upcoming Project Scorpio will get an official unveiling at E3 2017.

The company confirmed the news in a post Thursday, as Project Scorpio will be shown at Microsoft’s pre-E3 press conference on June 11 at 5 p.m. EDT. Project Scorpio is the current codename for Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One hardware refresh.

As with Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro, the updated console will feature native support for games in 4K resolution and improved internal specifications. The console will also have a revised design. Internally, Project Scorpio will have a Blu-ray drive and include an integrated power brick to make for an easier cable setup.

Major details like games and an official title for the console remain under wraps from Microsoft, but the company will likely reveal full details for Project Scorpio at its press conference.

So far, Microsoft has done a staggered rollout of information for the console update. Project Scorpio was initially announced at E3 2016 and earlier this month, Microsoft gave a thorough early preview to hardware analysts Digital Foundry.

On paper, Project Scorpio has more memory, a faster graphics unit and a higher-end processor compared to the PS4 Pro, but for gamers, the difference between the two updated consoles will likely come down to games and hardware support for peripherals like PlayStation VR.

Both Project Scorpio and the PS4 Pro also reflect shifting approaches to console development from Microsoft and Sony. In past generations, manufacturers would usually limit console updates to new designs or finishes, but with increasing graphics and performance demands, both consoles are a sign that neither company wants to wait for a full update cycle.
