The NFL Week 5 schedule concludes with a divisional matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs on "Monday Night Football." All the signs are pointing towards a Chiefs' victory and the Raiders falling even further back in the AFC West standings.

The betting odds at DraftKings Sportsbook favor Kansas City by seven points at home over Las Vegas. The Chiefs are two games ahead of the Raiders for first place in the AFC West. Since Patrick Mahomes became Kansas City's starting quarterback, the Chiefs have gone 7-1 against their division rival.

The Chiefs dominated the Raiders a season ago, outscoring Las Vegas 89-23 in their two meetings. With Mahomes under center, the Chiefs have never scored fewer than 28 points against the Raiders. Kansas City has reached the 35-point mark in six of those eight matchups.

Mahomes has 22 touchdown passes, three interceptions and an average of 318.3 passing yards per game when facing the Raiders.

It's possible that things will be different in the 2022 season. Las Vegas has a new head coach in Josh McDaniels, and Raiders' star Davante Adams is the best wide receiver on either team. Tyreek Hill is now gone from Kansas City, leaving Mahomes with a rather unimpressive wide receiving corps.

None of those changes have mattered much through four weeks. The Chiefs lead the AFC with 32.3 points per game and a 3-1 record. Las Vegas' offense has only been slightly better than average with Adams in the mix. The Raiders have given up at least 23 points in all four games

The Raiders' 1-3 record puts them in a tie for the most losses in football.

Las Vegas has allowed a rushing touchdown to the opposing quarterback in three straight games. Mahomes has 60 rushing yards in his last two games and is still looking for his first rushing touchdown of the season.

The over/under is 51.

The Chiefs are 2-0 in primetime games with impressive victories over the Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. ESPN will broadcast Monday's game at 8:15 p.m. ET, marking Kansas City's third primetime contest of the season.

Prediction: Kansas City over Las Vegas, 35-24
