Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley reportedly had no idea that Tamar Braxton was leaving the daytime talk show, “The Real.” According to a new report, they were just as shocked as everyone else when it was announced over the weekend that she wouldn’t return for Season 3.

TheJasmineBrand reported Sunday that the co-hosts were “blindsided” by the news and “had no idea that Tamar would be terminated.” A source told the outlet, “Quite frankly, they’re devastated. There wasn’t a meeting called. There wasn’t even warning signs, and they had nothing to do with her firing. They didn’t even know that a statement was being put out.”

Supposedly, it was the executive producers who decided not to have Braxton return for another season. The show is currently on a hiatus and set to come back in the fall. Despite rumors that the “Braxton Family Values” star was difficult on set, theJasmineBrand reported that everyone got along behind-the-scenes. “They’re p----d that they were left in the dark,” the source said.

On Saturday, Love B Scott reported that Braxton had been let go because she wasn’t “reading too well” with the audience, and the “sales people didn’t find her to be a good fit for advertisers.” However, in an official statement released Sunday, “The Real” producers said Braxton was leaving to focus on other things and called her departure a “mutual decision.”

“She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career,” the statement read (via Variety). “Everyone associated with ‘The Real’ appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best in the future.”

As previously reported, the 39-year-old singer hinted at drama with the show when she ranted on Instagram that someone she “stupidly trusted” had stabbed her in the back. Saying that her post wasn’t about her husband, Vincent Hebert, or her sisters, Braxton wrote: “I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch, and it’s not in good taste to tell you who. But know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear [you] down to TRY and dim your light. Thank GOD HE HOLDS MY FUTURE AND MY HAND!”
