There have been lots of rumors about “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice joining “Dancing With the Stars.” While fans might be excited with the prospect of seeing their favorite reality stare on the dance floor, the stint might not happen.

A statement released by Giudice's lawyer James Leonard Jr. clears up the rumors and ultimately denies that Giudice will be part of the reality TV dance contest.

“'Dancing With the Stars' approached Teresa about doing the season that aired in March but unfortunately with Teresa having just come home and with Joe Giudice going away in March, we had to decline the offer,” the statement read, according to E! News. “We have not had any discussions with 'Dancing With the Stars' since that time and as such any story linking Teresa to the upcoming season are untrue.”

Despite not being involved in the upcoming season, Giudice will reportedly not close her doors, and fans might still see her in future installments of the show.

Leonard's statement on behalf of Giudice comes after Star reported that the reality star is in talks to be part of the show, according to Daily Mail. A source reportedly told the publication that Giudice is strapped for cash, so she'd like to join the show because it pays well. The source added that Giudice is just playing it coy about wanting to be on the show but she's really desperate to be part of it.

This is not the first time Giudice has squashed rumors about her involvement with the show. Early this year, a source close to the reality star told People that she had not time for the show as she was focused on being with her family after serving time in prison for fraud charges.

Meanwhile, “Dancing With the Stars” reportedly did not send Giudice a formal invitation to be part of the show.
