‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Guidice Says Husband Joe ‘Really Thinned Out’ In Prison

“RHONJ” star Teresa Guidice just shared some details from her recent visit to her husband, Joe Guidice, in prison.

While speaking with Bravo’s “The Daily Dish,” the 45-year-old reality TV star said that Joe has lost a considerable amount of weight. “Joe’s doing great. I mean, he’s really thinned out, and he’s really muscular and really toned and really fit. He looks really, really good,” she said.

Joe began his 41-month sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in March 2016. He has been staying at the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix, according to People. According to Guidice, four months into her husband’s prison stint, Joe already lost a total of 35 pounds, and he’s been trying to stay fit and healthy while there.

The reality TV star also shared that Joe loves the way his hair is styled there. “When I go see them, they’re all clean cut; they look really good. Everybody looks good for when their family comes to see them, so he looked really good that day,” she said about her September visit.

Meanwhile, Guidice also talked about her plans after Joe gets out of prison and reunites with her and their children. While speaking with People, she admitted that she wants their marriage to work. “But you know, when Joe comes home, he has to do the right thing. And then we’ll just move from there,” she said.

Guidice, who has a new memoir called “Standing Strong,” said that she discussed everything she wanted to write in her book with her husband first. The reality TV star is also hopeful that once Joe gets to read her book, they could start repairing their relationship.

“Obviously he’s there, he has a lot of time to think. There’s a lot of guilt that he feels, and I see the change in the way he’s writing his emails and what he’s saying. We had a great marriage. I’m just upset with him because he wasn’t on top of the finances the way he should have been. He trusted the wrong people. That was really important, because he just made a mess of things,” she said.
