Scott Disick Hospitalized After Fire Department Responds To 5150 Psychiatric Hold Call

Scott Disick’s recent hospitalization has just been confirmed by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, a spokesperson for the LACFD revealed that they received a possible 5150 call on Aug. 18 from Disick’s residence. When they arrived at the scene, the man at the house was non-violent so they were able to bring him to the hospital. According to The Blast, the LACFD later on confirmed that it was Disick who they transported from his home to the hospital.

In 2015, psychotherapist Dr. Robi Ludwig explained to Entertainment Tonight what the 5150 call is. According to the physician, it is when someone is hospitalized involuntarily. “They’re basically there involuntarily and why this can help certain people is because it keeps them in the hospital longer and helps them to get treated longer,” Ludwig said.

“It’s usually a person who is in a sicker state that ends up in the hospital involuntarily because other people have decided that they can’t make their decisions on their own behalf and they usually are considered a danger to themselves or others at least for a period of time,” he continued.

In July, a source told the same publication that Disick has been having a hard time dealing with the fact that his and Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship is over. “It’s never an easy thing to watch someone you share three children with, and so many memories, move on with someone else. Scott has had a hard time watching Kourtney move on while he is in the same place he’s been in for years. It’s been tough for him,” the source said.

Disick and Kardashian were in a relationship for several years and have been blessed with three children. In 2015, they decided to call it quits. Over a year later, Kardashian started a relationship with Younes Bendjima, who is much younger than her. Disick, on the other hand, has partied and hooked up with multiple women. There were also some rumors that linked Disick to “Famous in Love” star Bella Thorne, but the actress clarified that they never hooked up.
