C.U.R.E. Institute holds a Halloween party in Season 2, episode 4 of “Scream Queens.” The workplace affair, however, isn’t really for fun, as the celebration is part of a bigger plan to catch the Green Meanie.

Shocked and saddened by the death of Sheila Baumgartner, a.k.a. Orgasm Girl (Cheri Oteri), in the hands of the killer last episode, Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis), Denise (Niecy Nash) and Hester (Lea Michele) devise a plan to find out the identity of the serial killer.

According to the synopsis for the episode, entitled “Halloween Blues,” the trio decides to throw a Halloween party in the hospital to lure the Green Meanie and eventually catch him/her once and for all.

As revealed in previous episodes, the Green Meanie showed up at the 1985 and 1986 Halloween party of Our Lady of Perpetual Suffering hospital (the former name of C.U.R.E. Institute) where he/she massacred almost all the staff and patients of the medical facility. If the Green Meanie’s Halloween killing spree is a trend, then it’s likely that he/she will also pop up during C.U.R.E. Institute’s Halloween bash.

“On Halloween nights, massacres happen in this hospital,” Hester says from her cell in the preview clip for the episode. “This year, it’s gonna be a doosie.”

When the party starts, an outbreak causes chaos in the hospital, leading Brock (John Stamos) and Cassidy (Taylor Lautner) to jump into action.

Elsewhere in the episode, Chanel (Emma Roberts) celebrates a different kind of Chanel-O-Ween and attempts to make contact with the killer’s latest victim from beyond the grave. It’s unclear who this victim is, but since Glen Powell is still included in the guest cast list for the episode, it’s likely that she will be communicating with his late fiancé Chad, who met his demise last episode.

“Scream Queens” Season 2, episode 4 airs on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
