‘Sex Sent Me To The ER’: New TLC Show To Air Embarrassing Romps And In Between-The-Sheets Mishaps
TLC is premiering a new four-part series on Saturday, Dec. 28 – and it sounds like it hurts! “Sex Sent Me To The ER” is the latest TV adventure for folks looking to share their true life horrors, but this time from in between the sheets.
Production company GRB Entertainment found success with its series, “Untold Stories Of The ER,” and is looking to thrust a little deeper into real-life hidden medical crises with a new series that documents horror stories that stem from things getting a little too hot and heavy. “Retold by emergency room physicians and the actual couples who, in the heat of the moment, got themselves into a fix and needed a doctor to fix it,” the network explained. “This four-part series illustrates how loving couples cope when sex goes outrageously wrong.”
So, what can viewers expect when the series premieres? The first episode will introduce 24-year-old Gregg, a virgin whose girlfriend, Jen, wanted to take their relationship to the next level. The only problem is that Gregg weighs 440 pounds and didn’t know his strength.
Their first time resulted in Gregg accidentally sending his girlfriend’s head through the wall. “My initial reaction was, ‘I killed her,’” Gregg told the New York Post. “’This is my first time. And Jen is dead.’”
Fortunately Jen was OK and managed to pull her head out of the wall. But a trip to the ER resulted in a concussion diagnosis. A PG-13 reenactment will be featured in the premiere of “Sex Sent Me To The ER.”
Other stories include a guitarist and singer who collapsed after a “wall-shaking” romp; a man with a broken penis and “complicated situation,” and an orgasm that just wouldn’t quit … after two hours.
The four-part series will premiere on TLC on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 10 p.m. Encore presentations can be caught on Discovery Fit & Health on Fridays at 10 p.m., starting Jan. 3.
