Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is no longer the horseman of war. In last week’s episode of “Sleepy Hollow,” the former Revolutionary War hero was rescued by an older version of Molly (Seychelle Gabriel) who helped him fight the horseman in his psyche.

Although Ichabod and his colleagues were able to overcome a crucial hurdle, they haven’t yet won the battle against Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies) and his for horsemen of the apocalypse.

Towards the end of Season 4’s penultimate episode, Ichabod’s son Henry Parish (John Noble) took his father’s place as a host for the horseman of war. What will happen next week on the Fox series?

Unfortunately, Dreyfuss will finally have enough power to infiltrate the White House and kill the Commander-in-Chief of the country in episode 13. His group of minions will grow strong enough to take action. Team Witness will try to stop him but it will come at a high cost.

The co-showrunner of “Sleepy Hollow,” Albert Kim, told TVLine that there will be a few scenes between Mison and Noble in the season finale. Crane tries to reach out to his son but the real question is which version of Henry will respond to him – the son with good intentions or the evil one who was the horseman of war and sin-eater once upon a time?

Moreover, Kim revealed that this is the first time in “Sleepy Hollow” that Crane is battling all four horsemen of the apocalypse at the same time. “They are actually, for the first time, galloping on Earth,” he said. “We see how powerful they are and what they can do. That represents, essentially, the ultimate challenge for our team.” Not only are they powerful but the horsemen are under Dreyfuss’ control.

Ichabod will be forced to do something drastic to stop them like make a deal with the devil (Terrence Mann). The preview of the Season 4 finale shows Crane and Molly meeting satan and requesting him to help them kill Dreyfuss. In exchange, Ichabod will make him a deal. Oh no!

“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 bows Friday, March 31 at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
