Sorry Duggar Fans, The ‘Counting On’ Family Won’t Attend Your Wedding Or Birthday Party
Emailing the Duggar family results in an interesting response. Those who send an electronic inquiry to the clan from TLC’s “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” (formerly “19 Kids and Counting”) will receive an automatic message.
The note starts off with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s family thanking fans for their support and revealing it sometimes takes them a long time read through their messages due to the volume of emails they receive. “We cannot always personally answer every email,” the family writes, “But every email is reviewed and we pray for everyone who contacts us.”
The message goes on to reveal requests to attend fans’ personal events will be turned down. “Unfortunately, due to the number of invitations and our schedule we cannot entertain invitations to personal events such as birthday parties and weddings. We wish we could go to everything!” writes the Arkansas brood. Fortunately for those interested in meeting Jim Bob and Michelle’s family in person, they will accept speaking engagement requests. “If you have expressed interest in our family speaking at a public event we will respond as soon as possible,” continues the email.
While the message makes sure to tout the family’s books for sale, and their newsletter, it also lets viewers know they’re thinking of them.
“Above all, remember that God loves you so very much. He gave his only son, Jesus, that you may know God personally, have forgiveness for your sins and gain eternal life. Nothing in life is as important as this!”
It’s not a surprise the Duggars are as busy as they are. The family just announced that Jinger Duggar is engaged to be married to former professional soccer player Jeremy Vuolo and the groom-to-be is already talking wedding planning. The family is also prepping for the return of “Counting On.” Season 2 begins airing on TLC Aug. 23.
