There have been some leaks about “Star Wars: Episode 9” that suggest C-3PO will use Chewbacca’s (Joonas Suotamo) bowcaster. Making Star Wars, a reliable website for spoilers of the franchise, has shared new details about why the droid will come to use the Wookiee’s weapon, and other funny details.

There is a new snow-covered planet featured in the upcoming film. C-3PO and R2-D2 will end up on this planet at some point in the film.

The funny sequences start when C-3PO reluctantly has his memories uploaded to R2-D2. This is the time when the protocol droid gets to use Chewie’s bowcaster. The new look of the character has been described as a “Rambo” look.

According to a previous Making Star Wars report, C-3PO will use Chewbacca’s bandolier and Rey’s (Daisy Ridley) staff as well. The young Jedi may be using Luke’s (Mark Hamill) lightsaber in “Star Wars: Episode 9.”

There is an old droid factory on the snow-covered planet. The fans will get to see Battle Droids in this location, and there will also be some Easter Eggs here, including a “Bad Robot,” which is a nod to JJ Abrams’ company.

The snow-covered planet is also reportedly the place where the new droid D.O. is introduced in the film. The small droid may be related to Keri Russell’s character.

Very few details about Russell’s character have surfaced online. A poster of the film that previously leaked on The Geekiverse teased the beautiful costume of this new character.

“Star Wars: Episode 9” is set to be released on Dec. 20. The film has been directed by Abrams.
