The previous Steam sale ended just a few weeks ago and Valve's digital distribution service is now preparing to deliver another set of huge discounts for gamers with the Steam Autumn Sale and Steam Winter Sale 2021.

Steam is poised to commence this year's Autumn Sale from Thursday, 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT. This year's sale launches just in time for Black Friday, an annual event that usually offers massive price slashes on various video games.

The Steam Autumn Sale 2021 will also cover Cyber Monday on Nov. 29 and will end on Dec. 1. These details came from industry insider SteamDB, who made his discovery from a documentation website.

Customers can expect the event to cause possible server issues and might have to wait a little longer to access the store and start checking out new deals. Last year, Steam launched the Autumn Sale in time for Halloween and offered huge discounts on horror titles.

While there is no way to know the exact list of video games that will be included in the upcoming mega sale, it is safe to assume that it would include a wide range of titles (probably thousands) in a variety of genres.

Just like last year, there is a high probability that this year's Steam Autumn Sale would feature the start of the Steam Awards. Categories could include VR Game of the Year, Game of the Year, Labour of Love, Most Innovative, Better With Friends, Best Game You Suck At, Outstanding Visual Style and Outstanding Story-Rich Game.

As for the Steam Winter Sale 2021, which is the platform's best and biggest event for the year, it is believed to start on Dec. 22 and will run until Jan. 5, 2022. Aside from the huge discounts on video games, the platform also offers the advent calendar and burning log.

Steam does not usually announce the dates and start times of its events in advance but thanks to insiders in the community, gamers now have an idea regarding the schedules and can prepare their wallets and credit cards for the most-awaited sales of the year.
