Sam Winchester certainly has a penchant for trouble on The CW’s “Supernatural.” Last season, the youngest hunter was afflicted with a disease unleashed by Amara/The Darkness. In Season 12, his brother Dean will scramble to locate him and it certainly won’t be easy. Sam was shot by a member of the British Men of Letters, Lady Toni.

A newly teaser trailer gives “Supernatural” fans a glimpse of what to expect in the Season 12 premiere – and it ain’t pretty. Watch the video below and read four things we learned from it below:

1. Sam Is Kidnapped … And Being Tortured!

The good news: Sam (Jared Padalecki) wasn’t shot by Lady Toni (Elizabeth Blackmore) in the Season 11 finale. The bad news: He’s been kidnapped and tortured by the Men of Letters.

2. Mary Winchester Is A Kickass Hunter

The minute Mary (Samantha Smith), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam’s mother, knows that her youngest is missing, she switches on her hunter mode. “Right now, all that matters is getting Sam back,” she tells Dean in the above teaser.

“Dean, Mary and Cas are on the ‘Save Sam train,’ and that really drives them for the first three episodes,” “Supernatural” executive producer Andrew Dabb told TVLine. Three episodes later, the Winchesters and Castiel/Cas (Misha Collins) will be faced with a double threat – Lucifer (Rick Springfield) and the British Men of Letters.

However, the Men of Letters may not be as bad as “Supernatural” fans think they are. “Sometimes, Sam and Dean will be working with them. Sometimes, they’ll be working against them,” Dabb said.

3. It’s Lucifer Vs. Crowley

The fallen angel has taken on a new vessel – a down-on-his-luck rock star named Vince Vincente. Crowley (Mark Sheppard) takes on Lucifer and seeks revenge for all the humiliation he caused him in the past. Furthermore, the King of Hell wants to reclaim his kingdom in Season 12. From the looks of it, Crowley is going to need all the help and luck he can muster.

4. Dean Is Bloodied And Chained

Rescue missions are never easy and from the looks of a battered, bloodied and chained Dean, the Season 12 premiere is going to be one to remember.
