“Supernatural” Season 12 is adding a little German fun. The CW series has seen hunters Sam and Dean Winchester battle against a plethora of monsters, ghouls, vampires, ghosts, witches, necromancers – you name it! In Season 11, the supernatural hunters helped stopped the apocalypse. Now, they’ll fight against Adolf Hitler himself.

Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padaelcki) will prepare to battle the German dictator in the upcoming season. Here’s everything you need to know:

1. They’ll Get A Little Help

A character named Aaron Bass, who is also the grandson of a member of the Judah Initiative, helped Dean and Sam the last time they were up against some Nazi necromancers in Season 8, episode 13, named “Everybody Hates Hitler.” Well, Adam Rose is reprising his role as Bass in Season 12, TVLine reports. It’s a good thing because our boys will need all the help they can get.

2. The Thule Society Is Involved

Back in Season 8, Dean and Sam chanced upon a secret society called The Judah Initiative that was composed entirely of rabbis. Their main objective was to defeat the Thule Society – a group of necromancers who also happen to be Nazis.

In “Supernatural” Season 12, the Thule Society will want to resurrect Hitler. “[They] want to enact their master plan and bring back Hitler,” The CW series’ showrunner, Andrew Dabb, said. “Sam and Dean are going to fight Hitler, and that’s opening up some interesting doors for us in terms of just doing some more crazy stuff.”

3. But The Battle Begins In Season 12, Episode 5

Although we can’t wait to see the handsome hunks battle Hitler, the action won’t begin before Season 12, episode 5.

“Supernatural” Season 12 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
