Supernatural
Dean and Sam go on another hunting trip while the former struggles to accept his mother's decision in “Supernatural” Season 12, episode 4. Watch the episode on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.

Resurrections can be so tricky and in the latest aired episode on The CW’s “Supernatural,” the newly revived Mary Winchester made a crucial decision. Dean and Sam’s mother decided that she needed some space and time to process this new world -- a world in which her two little boys and handsome husband are no more. It was heart wrenching to watch her leave the hunters.

Nevertheless, Mary is still alive and well. That has to count for something, right?

The upcoming episode of “Supernatural” Season 12 will see Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) get back to hunting things and saving people after saying goodbye to Mary (Samantha Smith) for the time being. In episode 4, titled “American Nightmare,” the handsome men delve into the world of religion when they solve a case involving a devout Christian family.

According to the synopsis (via SpoilerTV), this devout religious family lives off the grid. The brothers realize that the parents are hiding a huge secret that could destroy them all.

The promo of episode 4 shows Dean and Sam dressed up as priests while talking to a real one in a church. The best part of the trailer is when one of the members of the religious family asks the brothers, “Do you know God gentleman?” Of course, they don’t know how to respond to that!

Although the Winchesters are back hunting and pretending that everything is normal again, Dean will still struggle to accept Mary’s decision to leave. Sam seemed okay with her decision but Dean could barely manage to hug her.

On the bright side, “Supernatural” fans got to see Mary as a hunter. She may not be good with technology, but her hunting instincts are spot on.
