Don’t believe everything you read on the news. This is what “Thor: Ragnarok” star Tom Hiddleston told his fans after he was questioned about his new romance with “Bad Blood” singer Taylor Swift.

“We all live in a world where every phone has a camera and there's nothing new, really, about the spotlight to me,” he said during a Facebook Live Q&A with The Hollywood Reporter. “I think that's what happens when you're a public figure.”

As for himself, Hiddleston has learned how to deal with tabloid rumors and simply focus on the truth. Hiddleston is already quite popular because of his portrayal of the villain Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is also being touted as the next James Bond after his fantastic performance in the mini-series “The Night Manager.”

But after he went public with his relationship with Swift, the actor's new romance became the feast of tabloids.

“I've learned that there are many sides to a story, and that sometimes there are a lot of stories out there which are false,” he said. “The hardest thing is to try to not let those falsehoods affect your life.”

Meanwhile, Swift attracts news wherever she goes. One of the biggest news concerning the singer is her feud with the Kardashian clan of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” because of Kanye West’s controversial song “Famous,” where he called Swift a “b—ch.”

Swift’s best friend Selena Gomez came to her defense after the news broke out, according to Us Magazine. “There are more important things to talk about. Why can’t people use their voice for something that f--king matters?” the “Hands to Myself” singer tweeted.

Gomez was criticized heavily for her tweet, but she still continued, “Truth is, last thing we need right now is hate, in any form. This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh.”

But another one of Swift’s best friends, Karlie Kloss, seems to prefer neutrality.

During an interview with The Times, the supermodel said Swift’s new archenemy Kim Kardashian West is actually a “lovely person.”
