One week after “Teen Mom 2” stars Leah Calvert and Chelsea Houska rehashed their post-Season 5 drama, their co-stars Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans had their turn in the spotlight Wednesday night. On part two of the MTV reunion special, Kailyn and Jenelle discussed everything from their romances, to their relationships with their mothers and of course, their kids, with host Dr. Drew.

KAILYN

A small plot line in “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry’s Season 5 story, her relationship with her alcoholic mother Suzy, became a hot topic on her reunion segment Wednesday night. After Kailyn revealed that she had secretly left her and her husband Javi Marroquin’s 11-month-old son Lincoln under her mom's care, her better half was left shaking with rage.

“I took Lincoln to her house and Javi doesn’t know… I came back two hours later and she was trashed,” Kailyn, 22, said of the incident. “I just got myself together and never spoke to her again and I don’t want to talk to her ever again.”

After dropping the bombshell, Javi, 21, expressed his upset over the situation.

“I said I don’t want Lincoln going over there by himself and sure enough, I was right," Javi said. "I’m so furious. I don’t know what she did, but she was drunk with my son!”

Kailyn claimed she believed that her mother, who appeared sober on several episodes of Season 5, would remain clean while caring for their son. Despite Javi’s upset, Kailyn admitted she will most likely repair her relationship with her mother.

“It’s my mom. No matter how many times I’m not going to talk to her, I will always go back and give her a chance,” she said.

Fortunately for Kailyn, Joe Rivera, her ex-boyfriend and dad to her 4-year-old son Isaac, eventually stepped in to serve as the voice of reason for the couple. Joe said he believes Lincoln and Isaac should have a relationship with Suzy.

“I agree that they shouldn’t be left alone unsupervised with her but, I mean, I definitely have it in my heart … that they should get to spend their time with her as they grow up ... I think that’s important,” he said.

After Kailyn and Javi's feud over Kailyn’s mother, the couple discussed their turbulent marriage of two-years. Javi admitted to Dr. Drew that he feels distance from the "Teen Mom 2" star.

“Once Lincoln was born it was hard for me. It was hard for us. There was a time when I struggled a lot,” he said. “I don’t feel anything between us.”

According to Kailyn, their relationship is not a jeopardy but merely a work in progress.

“We need time apart and we need time together. I don’t feel like we have the together part,” she said.

Javi and Kailyn are not the only ones having relationship problems. Joe’s live-in girlfriend, Vee, also revealed that their romance has also been on the rocks in recent months.

“I had to move out because he wanted space,” Vee said. “I’ve been through a lot this past month and it’s still heavy on me a little bit.”

JENELLE

Jenelle Evan’s segment focused on her plans to secure full custody of her 5-year-old son Jace, whom is currently being cared for by her mother Barbara. After over a year of remaining sober and welcoming her son Kaiser, now two months, with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith, Jenelle said she was prepared to become a full-time mother of two.

“I know I don’t completely got my life together as in being married for a couple of years and then having a career and doing it the right way, but I’m happy enough to where I’m stable enough to have him,” she said.

Nathan said he was also invested in caring for Jace full-time.

“I just think he needs a strong fatherly figure and I think I can give him the structure,” he said. “With Kaiser, I know he’s going to have a bright future with both of us. I want Jace to not feel left out. I want him to have the same opportunity that I’m going to give my son.”

Despite agreeing to move Jace in with Jenelle in a one-years time during the Season 5 finale, Barbara sang a different tune during the reunion.

“We’re contemplating it,” she said of guardianship change. “I think Nathan is the one pushing it more than Jenelle. Jace only knows me and I’m his whole world … If I relinquish custody to Jenelle, let me tell you this, it’s going to be a slow process.”

Barbara, who has cared for Jace since he was 6-weeks-old, later broke down in tears over the thought of giving up custody.

“I love him, he’s my little buddy. I’m more concerned for him, I don’t want him to feel like I’m giving him away,” she said. "He will always be special to me. We’re so close. It will be the hardest thing I will ever have to do in my life.”
