‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry Slams Butt Implant Rumors As Javi Marroquin Supports Plastic Surgery

While “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry is recuperating from plastic surgery, she made time to clap back at trolls who claimed she got butt implants. Though the MTV reality star had a Brazilian butt lift at the hands of celebrity doctor Michael Salzhauer, it was her own fat that was injected into her backside — not silicone implants — that helped create her new voluptuous look.

Three days after her surgery, Lowry, 23, took to Twitter to set the record straight. “I did not get butt implants,” she tweeted to her 1.08 million followers. She added an emoji of a frowning face.

The star has faced criticism for her choice to get plastic surgery, possibly more so since Salzhauer, who is better known as Dr. Miami, live-streamed her surgery on his Snapchat account Sunday. This was done with Lowry’s consent.

She hinted at frustration Tuesday. “Damned if I do, damned if I don't. So I might as well do what I want,” she wrote.

Her husband, Javi Marroquin, was there to support her decision. “Whatever is going to make her happy then I ride with her,” he said. “Feel better babe @KailLowry.”

Marroquin also responded to a netizen who slammed Lowry’s choice to get a Brazilian butt lift, or BBL. When one person said they should have used the money to start a college fund for their children, he answered: “Our kids are good, don't you worry.”

She’s not the only “Teen Mom” to turn to surgery. Other MTV reality stars who went under the knife are Farrah Abraham, Jenelle Evans, Briana DeJesus and reportedly Maci Bookout.
