“Teen Mom OG” star Ryan Edwards is going to have an intervention with his future in-laws. The MTV reality star is suffering from a drug addiction, his ex-fiancée Maci Bookout claimed on Monday’s edition of the unscripted series. While his current fiancé Mackenzie Standifer was glib about the rumor, her father old Radar Online he wants Edwards to seek help.

“We’ll get together and talk about it,” Bob Standifer, Jr. told Radar Online in an exclusive report Thursday. “Mackenzie and Ryan are adults. I won’t talk without them present. Anything that we talk about, we’re all going to sit down together.” He added: “Ryan is a great guy.”

Mackenzie didn’t respond to her father’s comments. She last took to Twitter Tuesday to write, “Strong is beautiful.” While she didn’t say if her tweet was about her fiancé, it seemed evident to some followers.

The same day, she retweeted a message about being married. “Being married someday is going to be so dope,” the post says. “Like you get to come home to your best friend every single day and just do life together.” The couple is slated to marry Nov. 18, 2017 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Radar Online exclusively reported.

Edwards proposed December 2016.

Mackenzie didn’t appreciate people who criticized Edwards or their relationship after Bookout’s episode of “TMOG” aired Monday. “Here's a thought... maybe instead of making assumptions and tearing people down, you could spend that time praying for us instead,” she wrote the following day.

“Come talk to me when you've walked one damn mile in my shoes. Then see where you're at. Until then, hush,” she added the week before.

It’s unlikely Mackenzie will address the drug rumors directly. “Let them wonder, let them assume, and then let them eat cake,” Mackenzie told The Ashley last week, before the episode aired. “I don’t feel like I need to defend myself to viewers. When they walk in my shoes or pay my bills, then maybe. But I have absolutely no respect for individuals who choose to put everyone else down.”

The rumor was started by Bookout, who said she was afraid of what would happen to her ex. She claimed his family and friends don’t want him to get help.

“He would do it,” she said of rehab. “It’s everyone else around him that’s afraid to admit it. He’s got me. Everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health. It’s all denial. The hardest thing is to see Ryan not love himself. He’s a person who deserves to love himself.”

“Everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health…it’s all denial,” she added. “They all know.”

The mother-of-three might be the one to save her ex. “I’m going to be like, you have to go to rehab,” she told husband Taylor McKinney on Monday’s episode. “Right now it’s about saving his life. Most nights I’m crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day he’s going to die.”
