Tesla is about to unravel its newest and perhaps most exciting vehicle in its lineup this coming Nov. 21 -- the Tesla pickup.

Tesla’s electric pickup truck, which is also known as Cybertruck, will finally make its first appearance after an obscure teaser revealed early this year. Tesla CEO Elon Musk publicly stated the date when people will get a glimpse of the new Cybertruck for the very first time. This is thrilling news, especially for those who have been waiting for quite a while for this announcement to come out and have mostly relied only on concept designs to envision what it would look like.

Musk announced that the vehicle will make its reveal at an event in Los Angeles on Nov. 21. Now the reason why people are waiting for the Tesla pickup is due to the fact that Musk describes the new vehicle as “cyberpunk.” In a tweet, Musk said, “It will look like something out of Blade Runner.” Musk planned to reveal the pickup truck earlier this year, however, he announced in September that he will move the event back to November.

The reveal of the truck will be done on Tesla’s design studio in Los Angeles, California, which is also located at the same lot as SpaceX’s headquarters. Because of this, some are actually speculating that there’s truth to the theory that the pickup could be the foundation of the future Mars’ rover which makes the vehicle highly futuristic.

Musk discussed the information regarding the pickup truck at Tesla’s annual shareholders' meeting in June as well. He talked about Ford’s F-150, which he referred to as a “great truck,” and has become Tesla’s own vehicle standard. Ford is also currently working on an electric pickup as well.

The pickup or Cybertruck was created to purposely "meet or exceed an F-150. If the F-150 can do it then a Tesla truck should be able to do it." Musk also stated that the Cybertruck has a bold "cyberpunk" design, "like it came out of a sci-fi movie.”

Musk also suggested that the reveal and the unraveling date is "strangely familiar." The classic cyberpunk movie called the “Blade Runner” is about to launch in November 2019 as well in Los Angeles after all.
