Texas Woman, Ana Trujillo, Stabs Boyfriend To Death With Stiletto Heel, Claims Self Defense
A Texas woman is being charged with murder by high heels.
Ana Trujillo, 44, is accused by Houston police of stabbing her boyfriend Alf Stefan Andersson, 59, to death with her stiletto heel. The killing occurred Sunday morning in a high-rise luxury condo in Houston's Theater District.
Trujillo opened the door for police after they responded to a call. Once inside, they found Andersson's body on the floor. NBC News reports he had been gouged numerous times with the woman's heel.
Andersson was a research professor at the University of Houston Center for Nuclear Receptors and Cell Signaling, where he worked on women's reproductive health, reports ABC News.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Trujillo was arrested there. She was charged with murder and is set to return to court on Tuesday after being released from Harris Country Jail on $100,000 bond, reports ABC.
The Houston Chronicle reports Harris County district attorney's investigators say Trujillo stabbed Andersson in self-defense.
