Five-time Master’s Tournament winner Tiger Woods was in a horrific single-car accident on Tuesday which has left fans wondering if his career is over after suffering from severe injuries. While fans wait to see what the outcome is, here’s a look into how much the golfer is actually worth due to all of his success.

The 45-year-old has been in the limelight for decades for his ability to play the game of golf, as well as some of his drama off the course. Overall, he’s won 15 major tournaments, has had 81 PGA Tour wins and has won 41 European tours.

Woods’ net worth has been around $800 million for a few years, according to Forbes and ESPN. His high worth is from both his winnings and his endorsements from Bridgestone, Discovery Communications, Inc., Hero Motocorp, Monster Energy, Nike, Rolex, TaylorMade and Upper Deck

In 2020, Woods was the eighth highest-paid athlete in the United States, behind legends like Roger Federer, LeBron James and Stephen Curry, Forbes reported.

His most recent project was in 2019 when he opened his first and only public golf course in Taney County, Missouri, called Payne’s Valley. There are a few courses to choose from and it welcomes everyone of all levels to come to play.

With all of this success, it’s easy to see why fans are worried about how he will carry on after getting metal rods inserted into his legs after his accident, which police have confirmed happened with no signs of impairment from the Woods.

Twitter users have shared their condolences and have been sending their best wishes for a fast recovery, including former President Barack Obama.

"He is currently awake, responsive, and recovering in his hospital room. Thank you to the wonderful doctors and hospital staff at Harbour UCLA Medical Center, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and the Fire Department. Your support and assistance has been outstanding," an official statement about Woods read.
