Manchester United’s transfer window has been pretty busy.

The biggest news to come out this summer for the Red Devils is that of finally being able to end the Jadon Sancho saga with Borussia Dortmund.

The Sancho signing allows Manchester United to focus their efforts on improving the rest of their squad, particularly their midfield and defensive lines.

It was reported that the Old Trafford side is “extremely” close to signing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, and it would be of big help to Harry Maguire as he will have someone who is heavily dependable on the pitch.

However, Manchester United may be looking at a departure from their midfielder corps as French national team player Paul Pogba is garnering interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG has already had a stellar transfer window as they were able to sign Achraf Hakimi from Serie A side Inter for €60 million ($83.3 million), and both of Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos on free transfers.

Signing Pogba would be a great upgrade for the Ligue 1 runner-up as they look to regain the title after losing out to Lille, who had a one-point lead for the top of the table.

But a new club has made its intentions known with regards to Pogba.

Calciomercato reports that Juventus is also looking to bring Pogba back to the club.

Pogba started out his career with Manchester United but only appeared in three games for them and he was signed by Juventus for the 2012-13 season.

Former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson then confirmed that Pogba had not signed an extension, allowing him to freely join Juventus for £93.2 million ($129.4 million).

ESPN reports that Pogba will be considering his options moving forward and that a decision is expected to be made by the end of the week.

Manchester United is in a prime position to contend for the English Premier League title this coming season, so it may be expected that current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could ask for a hefty price for the 28-year-old Pogba.

If Pogba does leave, Manchester United might then focus their full efforts on signing West Ham United’s 22-year-old midfielder Declan Rice as a replacement.
