President Donald Trump on Wednesday will attend a Sinclair Broadcast Group town hall hosted by former Fox News personality Eric Bolling at the White House, after he participated in a similar event last week. Bolling will interview Trump and the president will also take questions from the audience.

"This election is one of the most important in modern history and voters are still looking for insight into the many issues that are impacting their daily lives," said Bolling, the host of "America This Week" on Sinclair. "We aim to give Sinclair viewers the answers to their most burning questions and look forward to getting a detailed view on what the next four years would look like under President Trump."

The 1-hour event will air at 8 p.m. ET on 55 of Sinclair’s CW and MYNET stations. The media group has also invited Democratic nominee Joe Biden to have a town hall event on its stations.

The event is expected to draw concern over political bias. Sinclair’s stations have been scrutinized for promoting conservative views.

In July, the company scheduled to air an “America This Week” interview with discredited scientist Dr. Judy Mikovits, who has alleged that the COVID-19 pandemic is a planned event. Sinclair later pulled the interview due to the controversy, calling the segment “not appropriate” to air.

In April 2018, 193 local TV affiliates owned by Sinclair aired segments warning of “fake news” pushed by “members of the media [who] use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control ‘exactly what people think.’”

Trump has frequently railed against “fake news” during his presidency, while often misusing its accurate interpretation.

Trump will meet Biden for a final debate Thursday evening. The showdown will take place at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and will be hosted by NBC News reporter Kristen Welker.
