Ubisoft recently took time to share details on the different technological enhancements next-generation gaming console players can enjoy when playing most of the gaming studios upcoming games releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

On its official blog, the gaming studio listed next-generation improvements arriving on eight of its titles. This includes “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” “Riders Republic,” “Rainbow Six Siege,” “Just Dance 2021,” “For Honor,” “Watch Dogs: Legion” and “Immortals Fenyx Rising.” The gaming studio also announced that upgrades from current-generation to next-generation consoles are free but for those looking forward to upgrading from a PlayStation 4 physical disc would need a disc drive on their PS5.

Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S players will enjoy ray-tracing and faster load times of “Watch Dogs: Legion.” PS5 owners will experience Tempest 3D Audio and Adaptive triggers support on the game aside from speedier load times and ray tracing. “Assassin's Creed Valhalla” players will experience 60fps at 4K and faster load times on both Xbox Series X and PS5 and Tempest 3D Audio Engine on Sony’s next-gen console.

For “Immortals Fenyx Rising,” Xbox Series X and PS5 players will enjoy 60fps at 4K, HDR and faster load times. Xbox Series X and Series S players will enjoy Dolby Atmos and spatial audio technology while PS5 users will experience Tempest 3D Audio engine and the haptic feedback courtesy of PS5 DualSense controller. “Far Cry” 6 will deliver 60fps at 4K while “Rainbow Six Siege” players will enjoy 120fps at 4K on both next-gen consoles.

“Riders Republic” will allow Xbox Series X and PS5 players to experience 60fps at 4K, HDR support and faster load times. Aside from next-generation gaming consoles, Ubisoft upcoming titles will also be available on cloud gaming platforms. “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” will release on Xbox Series X and Series S on Nov. 10 and on Nov. 12 or 19 on PS5.

Meanwhile, “Immortals Fenyx Rising” released on Dec 3. In 2021, a couple of Ubisoft titles are scheduled to arrive. These are “Far Cry 6” slated on Feb 18, and “Riders Republic” on Feb. 25.
