The remaining group stage games for the U.S. men’s basketball team have all of a sudden become very important at the Tokyo Olympics. Following its opening loss to France, Team USA has work to do in order to reach the knockout round in search of another gold medal.

Team USA’s next chance to pick up a victory comes Wednesday with a matchup against Iran. There are several ways to watch the game, though tuning in live could prove to be a challenge for many U.S.-based basketball fans.

The game between Team USA and Iran is scheduled for Wednesday at 1:40 p.m. local time in Tokyo. That means the contest starts at 12:40 a.m. EDT Wednesday, and it will tip off late Tuesday night for much of the US. A live stream will be available with Peacock, NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports App.

A replay of the game is set to air at 3 p.m. EDT on NBC. A full replay of the game will also be available at NBCOlympics.com, where viewers can currently watch a replay of Team USA’s 83-76 loss from Sunday.

The defeat was a notable upset, considering Team USA had won 25 straight Olympic games dating back to 2004. Team USA blew a seven-point lead in the final minutes, allowing France to go on a 16-2 run. Evan Fournier led the French national team with 28 points.

Kevin Durant was limited to just 10 points in 21 minutes as he dealt with foul trouble for much of the game. Damian Lillard and Jayson Tatum combined to score just 20 points on 6-of-19 shooting.

It would be absolutely stunning if the U.S. doesn’t defeat Iran in the team’s second game of the Tokyo Games. Team USA is a massive 39.5-point betting favorite over Iran, according to odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Czech Republic defeated Iran 84-78 in its first contest of group play. The loser of Wednesday's showdown will face longshot odds to qualify for tournament play.

The 12 men’s basketball teams are divided into three groups at the Tokyo Olympics. The top two teams in each group, along with a pair of third-place teams, will advance to the knockout stage.
