A Brazilian man claims his wife tried to murder him by sticking poison in her vagina and luring him to bed.

The husband said the plot was foiled when he noticed a strange smell emanating from his wife’s vagina after she encouraged him to give her oral sex, The Mirror reported.

The husband was only identified as a 43-year-old man from Sao de Jose Rio Preto, Brazil, according to Portuguese news outlet tvi24.

The husband took his wife to the hospital, where the toxic substance was discovered by doctors, Argentinian newspaper La Razon reported. Doctors told the man that there was enough of the poison to kill him.

The wife allegedly confessed to the vagina poison plot, according to the paper.

Tvi24 reported the wife drew up the murder plot after she asked for a divorce.
