KEY POINTS

  • "Valheim" allows players to craft items and build structures
  • In crafting and building, players need lots of items
  • There is a trick that "Valheim" players could use if they want to increase the number of items they have in their inventory

One of the challenging aspects of playing "Valheim" is getting enough items for various activities. Interestingly, there is a way on how to duplicate inventory items infinitely within minutes. Here is the step-by-step process of doing this, especially for players who do not want to spend much time farming and crafting items.

It is worth noting that this process is possible because of the new duplication glitch in "Valheim." To take advantage of the exploit, players need to join a friend's game in a multiplayer match. They can look for a house that does not have other players and put a couple of various empty chests inside next to each other.

After that, players have to place all the items they want to duplicate in the chests and find a way to crash the game. Some players use the task manager, which is done by pressing CTRL, ALT and Delete. While doing this, players should click around "Valheim" until they force the game to crash.

Players can also open a second game using another platform like Origin to crash the game. Another way to force crash "Valheim" is by opening multiple tabs in the browser and playing YouTube videos on all of them. After the game crashes, players need to go back into their friends' place and check the chests. Players will notice that all the items in the chests have been duplicated.

Players can do this item duplication trick as many times as they want. As long as the game can crash, they can get twice or even thrice as much as the items they stored on the chests, depending on how many chests they have. So, to get more items, players can place as many chests as they can.

It is worth noting that developers are already aware of this exploit. In other words, it is likely that they are already working on a fix or might roll out a patch to resolve the issue in the next update. For now, the exploit is still working, so for players who want to focus on building their characters, this trick could do the job.
