Victoria’s Secret Angel Kate Grigorieva Weds Boyfriend In Zac Posen Gown

Victoria’s Secret angel Kate Grigorieva got married to her longtime boyfriend Alexander over the weekend in her native Russia. The 25-year-old model walked down the aisle in a traditional white wedding gown. The ceremony was held on Sunday in St Petersburg.

According to a several Russian websites, her new husband appears be a soldier, who is currently serving in Severomorsk. It is reported that the duo had been friends for a number of years before they started dating.

The bride opted for a stunning Truly Zac Posen gown for her weekend nuptials, People reported. The long-sleeved dress features a fitted bodice and mermaid skirt with a long train, which showed off her svelte figure. It has all-over lace detailing with sheer sleeves and is from the label’s David’s Bridal collection.

She shared a picture of her with her husband . “Thank you so much @zac_posen for my wedding dress,” she captioned the picture with the hashtags of zacposen, wedding and kategwedding. She paired her bridal look with a show-stopping cathedral-length lace-trimmed veil.

Grigorieva opted for a romantic, elegant and understated look for her big day, just like her VS girls who were married before her. Her honey-hued tresses was swept back into a low chignon and styled into side part. The up do helped secure her traditional long veil. The Russian beauty carried a bouquet with white and purple flowers tied with a purple satin ribbon.

The model kept her makeup natural and simple with a smoky eyes and softly flushed cheek -- as she posed with her makeup artist before dressing up. She shared several snaps from her big day on her Instagram page, dressed in a white silky robe with "bride" emblazoned across the back. The robe is from Victoria’s Secret.

The six bridesmaids were dressed in various shades of purple and lavender, which she perfectly complemented through her bouquet.

The stunning model made her debut for the lingerie brand in 2014, when she walked the catwalk at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion show. Kate is one of 10 new Angels who joined established models Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel in April.

Grigorieva was previously a top 10n finalist for Miss Russia 2012 and she was the runner-up on “Russia’s Next Top Model” before moving to the United States to pursue her modeling career.
