“Toy Story 4” was announced long ago, but the end of the wait is finally in sight. Disney-Pixar released the first teaser trailer and poster on Monday.

The video ends with the words “Summer 2019” while the poster has the slightly more specific “June 2019” marked on it. However, Disney-Pixar has already set the exact release date for “Toy Story 4”: Friday, June 21, 2019.

“Toy Story” diehards don’t have to wait until it releases to meet the newest toy, though. The teaser trailer shows all our favorite playthings dancing in a circle, but then the camera hits someone fans haven’t met. He looks like a plastic fork, and he knows that he is in the wrong place. “I don’t belong here,” he screams before running away.

He breaks the chain, throwing all the other toys into disarray. “I’m not a toy!” the new creature tells the camera.

When viewers last saw the toys in “Toy Story 3,” released June 18, 2010, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the crew left Andy. He was going to college and cleaning out his toys. So he gave them to a little girl named Bonnie, who is apparently still enjoying them. The teaser trailer came with a synopsis, which reveals that Bonnie is the one who added this new character to the group.

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

The “Toy Story” franchise launched on Dec. 22, 1995. The flick earned over $373 million worldwide, making it a hit, but that was only the beginning of its box office success. The first sequel came on Nov. 19, 1999, earning over $497 million worldwide.

Then, fans had to wait over a decade for “Toy Story 3.” The 11-year wait didn’t hurt the box office at all. The film earned over $1 billion for Disney-Pixar and is on the list of Top 25 Highest Grossing Movies of All Time, according to Box Office Mojo. The fourth film, directed by Josh Cooley, is expected to be a huge success as well.
