Matthew McConaughey may not be a professional singer, but his character Buster Moon in the animated movie “Sing” certainly has a honey voice. The “True Detective” star hit the red carpet along with his wife, 34-year-old Camila Alves, and their three beautiful children – 8-year-old Levi, 6 year-old Vida and 3-year-old Livington -- during the premiere of his new film.

Sporting a beard and dapper tuxedo, the 47-year-old Texas-born actor looked cheery and handsome. The Oscar winner was asked by Entertainment Tonight about his holiday plans after Thanksgiving. “We’re still catching our breath after that one,” the “Dallas Buyers Club” actor joked. “We had 31 McConaugheys at the house, and the house sleeps twelve. So we had air mattresses and nine kids in one queen-sized bed and it was basically, ‘Sleep where you can find a pillow.’”

The “Interstellar” star revealed that he and his family are planning to head to New York for the holidays before traveling to Brazil to visit his wife’s family. McConaughey certainly needs a break after working on “Sing.”

In the animated flick, the “Free State Of Jones” actor plays a koala hosts the world’s greatest singing competition in order to restore his theatre to its former glory. He hopes to raise enough money from the competition in order to prevent his theatre from closing down for good. McConaughey’s character is described as an eternal optimist.
