Although it has been years since R. Kelly has garnered attention for something controversial, the Pied Piper is now being accused of allegedly running a cult. The “Ignition” singer has yet to address accusations about holding a woman against her will, but there are two concerned parents that believe their daughter is under the King of R&B’s spell.

Buzzfeed first reported on the story of J and Tim (their government names are being protected for the sake of their privacy) who claim that R. Kelly is running a questionable group that their daughter has become a member of.

Former members of the singer’s inner circle revealed that the artist’s alleged cult consists of six women who live on properties rented by Kelly in Atlanta and Chicago. The sources explained the singer decides when the women eat, sleep, how they dress and how they interact with him sexually.

Despite these cult accusations, Kelly wasn’t always seen in a negative light. The singer is a father and was married to ex-wife Andrea Lee for more than a decade. Although his former wife has yet to comment on the most recent accusations against her ex-husband, her life has been quite eventful without his media circus.

Check out these four things that you should know about Kelly’s ex-wife:

1. Lee is a mother

R. Kelly and Lee share three children together, Joann, who was born in 1998, Jaya, who was born in 2000, and Robert Jr., who was born in 2002. In 2014, the former couple seemed to be at odds with one another when Jaya announced on social media that he is a transgender male and has changed his name to Jay.

That same year, Lee told TMZ that Kelly refused to accept his transgender child and at the time, he continued to call her Jaya even though his daughter was living life as a male. When asked about his transgender child during a radio interview, Kelly appeared to be in denial about it and hinted that he didn’t believe in it.

2. She is a skilled twerker

In 2016, the mother of three made headlines while enjoying a fun getaway. Lee hit the dance floor where her twerking skills not only put the younger crowd to shame, but she also broke out some of her belly dancing moves while mixing up her routine with a combination of jazz, ballet, hip hop and several splits.

3. Lee is talented

Not only is Lee a dancer and choreographer (she used to be Kelly’s backup dancer) but she is also an actress. Lee landed her first role in the film “Before ‘I Do’” in 2015.

4. Lee was a reality star

The 43-year-old made her debut on VH1’s “Hollywood Exes” in 2012. The show ran for three seasons before ending in 2014 and chronicled the lives of seven ex-wives of famous men. Lee starred alongside Nicole Murphy, Mayte Garcia, Sheree Fletcher and Jessica Canseco on the series as well as Shamicka Lawrence and Shanna Moakler, who joined the series in seasons 2 and 3, respectively. Since the end of the show, Lee has continued to pursue dancing and further explore her career in the entertainment industry.
