U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has kept his family in the limelight throughout the course of his presidential campaign and his children — Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric — along with son-in-law Jared Kushner are also vice presidents of his White House transition team.

However, relatively lesser is known of his siblings, whose names figured in the list of people he thanked in his speech following the declaration of the election result. Here is what we know of the construction mogul’s two elder sisters, and older and younger brothers:

Maryanne Trump Barry

The eldest of the five Trump kids, she is also Donald’s most well-known sibling. After receiving a law degree from Hofstra University, Maryanne served as the District Judge for New Jersey (Newark) for sixteen years after being nominated by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. President Bill Clinton promoted her to a seat on the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1999, where she served as Circuit Judge till she retired in 2011.

Donald, who is reportedly very close to his sister, said about Maryanne: “She feels that women are very smart and can be very tough and can be at least equal to men, and that women can fight very hard.”

She lives in New York with her husband, John J. Barry, a retired attorney.

Frederick (Freddy) Trump Jr.

Eight years older than Donald, Freddy dabbled with the family business only to give it up and move to his passion for flying.

Freddy, though fun-loving, came under immense pressure to succeed in the family business and could not handle the criticism of his “perfectionist” father, according to a report by the New York Times, turning to alcohol for refuge.

He passed away when he was only 43 in 1981, leaving a deep impact on his younger brother Donald who said, “He would have been an amazing peacemaker if he didn't have the problem, because everybody loved him.”

Elizabeth Trump Grau

Trump’s other older sister is a graduate of Kew-Forest School and Southern Seminary College (now renamed Southern Virginia University) in Buena Vista, going on to work in the banking sector.

She married film producer James Walter Grau in 1989, with Donald as an usher at the wedding.

Robert Trump

The youngest of the Trump brood, Robert joined the family business, moving up to become a top executive in the Trump empire. The 67-year-old is now retired and based out of Long Island.

“I support Donald one thousand percent,” Robert said during an interview with website Page Six earlier this year. “I think he’s doing a great job. I think he’s got a great message.”
