While the college hunk may not be as well-known as the British beauty, he previously made a name for himself across the pond before being recognized as the actress’ rumored boyfriend. The UK’s Mirror reported Wednesday that Janney, 21, is not only a student at the prestigious institution, he is also a star rugby player for their varsity team. Despite his prized athletic skills, Janney has also been recognized for something else: his looks. According to the report, the college student was named “Oxford’s most eligible bachelor” and “best looking player” by the university’s rugby team’s official Twitter account.

Luckily for Watson, famous for portraying the smart Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films, looks and brawn are not the only things Janney has to offer. The Mirror claims that Janney also delivers when it comes to making the grade. “[Janney] is preparing to finish his degree at the University’s Oriel College studying medical and modern languages,” reads the publication’s report, adding that the star athlete is returning to classes “later this month.”

News of the film star’s new courtship first became public knowledge Wednesday when a source close to her revealed details of the duo’s allegedly burgeoning romance. “It’s early days, but they’re very much into each other,” said an insider, adding, “Matt’s a real hit with the girls but he may have finally met his match. … They make a great couple.”

On Monday, a rep confirmed that Watson had officially split from her boyfriend of two years, Adamowicz. The announcement comes on the heels of a leaked photo of the 23-year-old surrounded by what was rumored to be drugs. Adamowicz later commented on the scandal, stating that the white substance in the photo was merely “bits of scrap paper.” According to Watson’s rep, the duo split last summer due to conflicting schedules.
