Former Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom is unresponsive in a Las Vegas hospital after he did crack cocaine all weekend long, the New York Daily News wrote in an exclusive report Wednesday. Odom, the ex-husband of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality star Khloé Kardashian, has struggled with drug addiction and did a stint in rehab two years ago.

But the former NBA star has relapsed. He had "every drug imaginable" in his system and could suffer brain damage, a report from the Las Vegas hospital said. “He was doing crack cocaine all weekend and he choked on his mucus," a source told E! Online.

Odom, 35, has battled crack cocaine addiction rumors since his legal separation from Khloé Kardashian in 2013. At the time, TMZ reported he was partying with two women and smoking crack all day. “His life now revolves around smoking crack and listening to rap music,” the site wrote in September 2013. “Lamar almost never leaves the home.” Odom tried to keep the drug habit a secret. “Lamar is extremely paranoid about getting caught,” TMZ added. The addiction reportedly cost him $800 to $1,000 per day.

Intense paranoia is just one of the psychological symptoms crack addicts suffer from. Others include psychosis, hallucinations, anxiety, depression, violent mood swings, break from reality, lack of motivation, rationalization of drug use and inability to exert good judgment, according to Acadiana Addiction Center. Physical effects of the drug include changes in heart rhythm, nosebleeds, blood-borne disease, stroke, heart attack, coma and even death.

Though Odom’s rep and agent have addressed his medical condition, neither has commented on his alleged addiction. Khloé Kardashian has not issued a statement but reportedly is at his hospital bedside.

Odom was found unresponsive at the Love Ranch South, a legal brothel west of Las Vegas. He was discovered by an unknown woman, who called for medical assistance. He was taken to a hospital nearby and then transferred to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where he is being treated. The brothel’s owner, Dennis Hof, said he feared Odom “might not make it.”
